Founders Melinda and Eric Wolford were inspired by their son Stone to start No Stone Unturned. At age two, Stone was diagnosed with Cardio-Facio-Cutaneous Syndrome (CFC Syndrome) a rare genetic syndrome that includes developmental, cognitive, and neurological delays with numerous medical complications.
Despite Stone’s strong will and fun-loving spirit, his needs were an exceptional challenge to the Wolfords. To their dismay, they realized many of the therapies and behavioral techniques Stone needed were not easily accessible or affordable.
But the Wolfords were inspired to search out every possibility for their son and other families caring for children with disabilities. They started No Stone Unturned Foundation and No Stone Unturned Therapeutic Learning Center in 2013.
No Stone Unturned is now a full-service therapy and learning center providing physical therapy, occupational therapy, behavioral therapy, and speech & language therapy for children of all ability levels. Our therapists provide compassionate, innovative, and proven care in a collaborative environment to help children achieve their fullest potential.
The Therapeutic Learning Center serves nearly 250 children and families per month, which amounts to 1,800 kid visits annually. Children come to No Stone Unturned from 17 different Kansas counties.
The No Stone Unturned Foundation is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization that provides direction, funding, and care for the No Stone Unturned Therapeutic Learning Center.
The No Stone Unturned Foundation mission:
Everything the No Stone Unturned Foundation does is driven by the belief that children with all types of disabilities and their families deserve access to the services they need.
